Romans: The Gospel We Live
E Pluribus Unum
Toran Scott - April 25, 2021
The city of Rome is often called "The Eternal City" because in the first century, despite its age, the city continued to grow in size, power, splendor and influence. In the New Testament there is a letter written by Paul to the church in this city, Rome, the eternal city. And just like the city it was addressed to, this letter has continued to grow in its power, significance, and influence over time. In this letter we find Paul's fullest explanation of the good news about Jesus' life, death, and resurrection and the implications of that good news for our lives.
In this letter we find ancient answers to many of our modern questions. In this letter we find the Gospel we live. Join us this Spring for our trip through the second half of Romans as we discover the life Jesus intends us to experience in the gospel we live.
