We tell stories to those who couldn’t be there so they can know what we’ve seen. The best stories are more than information, though—they transport us to places and give us the ability to understand and experience things we have yet to see. They introduce us to ourselves. 

The Gospel of John tells the story of Jesus' life in such a way that not only informs us, but, if we are willing, transforms us as well. As John shares the life of Jesus with “those who’ve not yet seen”, he gives us a new lens to see the world and discover who we are—just by telling us who He is.
